Multiple activated of cytokine induced killer cell
Technical introduction and principle
Multiple activation of DC-CIK (Multiple activation of DC-CIK, Mact-DC-Cik) is a combination of dendritic cells (DC) and multiple activated CIK cells (Mact-CIK) to treat tumors. DC cells, namely dendritic cells (Dendritic Cell), are professional antigen-presenting cells whose main function is to directly uptake, process and present antigens to initiate specific immune responses. DC can induce the activation of naive T cells and is the "initiator" of the body's immune response. In addition, DCs can also directly or indirectly promote the proliferation and activation of B cells and regulate humoral immune responses; stimulate memory T cell activation to induce re-immune responses; interact with NK to affect specific and innate immune responses. Ideal immunotherapy requires the effective integration of the body's immune system, and DC and multiple activated CIK are the core components of secondary immunity and innate immunity, respectively. Therefore, co-culturing DC cells with multiple activated CIK can give full play to the synergistic effect of the two. , Stimulate effective immune response, significantly enhance the efficacy of anti-tumor immunotherapy. The synergy principle is as follows:
1. Activated NKT cells (the main effector cells of Mact-CIK) can promote DC maturation by up-regulating CD40L and interacting with CD40 on the surface of DCs and secreting IFN-γ;
2. Mature DCs can secrete a large amount of IL-2 to prevent NKT cells from incapacitating;
3. NKT cells can directly kill microorganisms and tumor cells, and the obtained antigens can be taken up by DCs, thereby activating CD8+ T cells and inducing a specific killing response against the tumor;
4. Mact DC CIK can kill tumors through natural killing, direct killing and targeted killing;
5. Mact-DC-CIK can induce immune memory in vivo, so as to obtain long-term anti-tumor effect.
